New Year, new goals. Here’s what it’s looking like in 2015. Let me know if you’ll be participating in any of these races.

Sunday January 11, 2015: Walt Disney World Marathon. This will be my first marathon!

10K-new

Sunday May 10, 2015: This is the one race that seems to be my regular each year. Aiming for under an hour! I’ll be running with my dad again so I’ll be staying with him so hopefully we can train together to reach that goal.

May 22/23: Mud Hero! It’s my first “mud” event and right now my cousin in the midst of making our group all family members. How cool is that?

TBD: I’d like to get a triathlon done next year too but I’m going to hire a coach to see how to best plan things out. 2014 was extremely hectic and my training was all over the place. 2015 is the year of race organization.

[SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED] Thursday November 28, 2013-January 1st, 2014: Runner’s World Run Streak. I’ve pledged to run 1 mile every day from American Thanksgiving until the new year!

[SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED] January 1- January 30, 2014: #WeRun2014 Taking it a step further, I have signed up for this Nike challenge. 100 miles (roughly 5km a day) in 30 days.

[SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED] Sunday March 2, 2014: Power of Movement yoga fundraiser for Arthritis Research Foundation. It’s the second year I will be participating and I’m very excited. I had a blast last year with my friends and family.

10K-new

[SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED] Sunday May 11, 2014: Back at it for the second time. I really loved this race last year so training with my pops for a PR of under an hour.

[SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED-PB] Sunday May 25, 2014: Ottawa half-marathon 21.1km run. This will be my first Ottawa race and I’m very excited to run it in support of Connected in Motion. It is also my second half-marathon.

[ UNABLE TO ATTEND] Thursday June 12, 2014: Lolë White Tour. The Royal Ontario Museum will become the home of one incredibly large yoga session with everyone dressed in white, a colour of symbolic peace.

[ SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED] Saturday/Sunday July 26-27, 2014: Grand Bend to London MS Bike 150km bike ride. This will be my first ride of this distance. My last race ride was for my triathlon which I rode 10km.
